All the trees turned into chandeliers after a heavy ice storm. It was all over the news and we didn't quite know what all the fuss was about as it was quite civil and only a couple fallen trees. As we left the area later that day we saw the real damage of the storm. A LARGE fraction of the trees along the route between Keene Valley and Underwood were overturned. Downed power lines all over the place.
