Just east of Napeague bay (Long Island, NY). These dune are slowly, but surely marching across the landscape. Depending on conditions speeds of several meters/yards per year can be attained. Whole trees are swallowed on the advancing front and are then spit out several decades later. Some tops of particularly tall trees can be seen peaking out of the sand, they look just like bushes.
