Description

dotWifi is a python script which monitors your computers wifi interfaces for accesspoints and automagically signs on to them.

Installation

Basic instructions to get you started:

• Install requirements
• Download the latest version of the script here
• Configure dotWifi using this examle config file and place it into /etc/dotwifi.config

Requirements

All the stuff you need before you should install dotWifi:

• Wifi card with drivers which are supported by wireless tools
• wireless tools
• Python (tested on 2.3 and 2.4, should work on 2.2)
• super user access

• WPA Supplicant
• sudo
